Directions to the Church of St. Mary

Hillhouse Avenue, New Haven, CT

From I-95: Take I-95 into New Haven. Follow signs for and take I-91 North (toward Hartford) to exit 3, Trumbull Street, and continue to third traffic light. Turn left onto Temple Street. Continue on Temple to the traffic light at end of the block and turn right onto Grove Street. Take first right onto Hillhouse Avenue.

From I-91: Take exit 3, Trumbull Street, and continue straight to third traffic light. Turn left onto Temple Street. Continue on Temple to the traffic light at end of the block and turn right onto Grove Street. Take first right onto Hillhouse Avenue.

From the Merritt Parkway (Route 15): Take exit 61 - Whitney Avenue, Hamden. If traveling Northbound, turn left at end of the exit ramp onto Whitney Avenue. If traveling Southbound, turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Whitney Avenue. Continue on Whitney Avenue for approx. 5 miles through Hamden and into New Haven. Whitney becomes Temple Street. Continue on Temple Street to the traffic light at intersection of Grove Street. Turn right onto Grove Street. Take first right onto Hillhouse Avenue.

From the Knights of Columbus Museum: Turn left and stay in left lane when exiting Museum parking and proceed to the first traffic light. Turn left onto Water Street and stay to the left. Take first left onto State Street N. Continue on State Street to the fifth traffic light. Turn left onto Grove Street. Continue on Grove through three traffic lights to the fourth right and turn right onto Hillhouse Avenue.

From downtown New Haven and Yale University:

Parking with meters (meters in operation Monday-Saturday 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.) is available along Hillhouse Avenue and the streets around the Church. A public parking garage is located on Grove Street. Yale Parking Lot #51 on Temple Street, located between Wall and Elm Streets, is open to the public after 4:00 p.m. on Friday and through the weekend.

An elevator is available for access to the Church and Parish Hall at the side entrance of the Church located between Hillhouse Avenue and Temple Street, next to the Priory.
